We are hiring: Acquisitions Librarian

We are seeking a fun, friendly library professional to join our great staff and thriving library as the next Acquisitions Librarian. If you have a background in collection development and budgeting, are community-centered, organized, a self-starter and team-player who is excited to meet the needs of our patrons, this is the job for you.

We can’t wait to have the right candidate here with us full-time (37.5 hours/week to include Saturdays and some nights). We are located “in town” in the beach community of Hampton, NH near the MA border. Our community has a population of 16,000 residents in the fall, winter, and spring and we swell to 100,000 people in the summer. Over half of all residents hold library cards in our community and make regular use of our 16,500 sq. foot library and collection of 70,000 titles.

Closing date: April 10, 2026

Salary: $49,000 to $52,000 annually, commensurate with experience
