EVO Rock+ Fitness Portable Rock Wall
Climb a Rock Wall on July 5th,
4:00-6:00 pm at the Centre School Parking Lot. Evo Rock + Fitness from Concord, NH will set up their portable climbing wall for kids of all ages to try! No sign-up is needed for this free event. Signed waiver are required and will be available that day. Compete in the Frozen T-Shirt Challenge to win fun prizes

NHSPCA
Pet Toy Project

Support our local NHSPCA by crafting toys for donation. Teens will make fleece rope pulls for dogs and a catnip toy for kitties. July 6th 3:00-4:00 pm.

Kindness Rock Project
Spread some love and random acts of kindness. Teens will get involved with the Kindness Rock project. We'll decorate rocks with inspiring and hopefully messages. Rocks will be available at the library in our Inspiration Garden. Connection through art. Kindness through community love.  7/11 at 3:00-4:00 pm.

Hip-Hop Yoga
What better way to get in motion than a combination of hip hop cardio moves incorporating basic yoga poses. High energy, fun music and constant movement! Instructor Barbara Durand will be here July 13th & August 1st, 4:00-5:00 pm. No sign-ups. First in the Door. Class size limited to 15-18.

Breakout Box
Part game. Part mystery. A Breakout Box is a unique collection of locks, boxes, and items used to solve a puzzle and complete the game. Teens will work together to solve the mystery of the Breakout Box.  July 18th, 1:30-3:00 pm & July 19th, 4:00-5:00 pm. Sign-up required.

Bookend Art Project

We're adding some color to the library! Teens will paint bookends that will be used throughout the stacks We'll personalize these will book covers. After they are painted, the bookends will be sealed and returned to holding up books with a lot more style!  July 25th, 3:00-4:00 pm.

Community Mural
What does a better world look like to you? Teens attending our Art Mini-Camp will answer this question by presenting a large community mural that they invite all community members to come help color with vibrant chalk. The mural will span several spaces in our Library parking area, with a free form art area running along the sidewalk. Open to all ages! July 27th, 12:30-3:00 pm

Join us for the second Lane Memorial Library 1 Mile Family Fun Run event. July 28th at 8:30 am. Everyone is welcome, even spectators! Open to all ages. Come cheer on your friends, family and neighbors! Registration can be found on our website. Our race will be at the WHS Track. Prizes will be awarded!

Not A Box Event
We'll hold a special storytime reading of, "Not a Box" by Antionette Portis. Children will then have the opportunity to let their imagination run free and construct whatever they can with supplies provided by the library.
Teens will construct cardboard creations to be used at our Children's Finale! This great family event brings all ages together. June 31st, 2:30-4:00 pm.

NH Astronomical Society Skywatch
A "Skywatch" is simply a gathering of amateur astronomers with a focus on outreach and education for a private group or for the public at large. The NH Astronomical Society will arrive before sunset, set up their equipment and choose their celestial targets with public education and outreach in mind. Open to all ages.
June 28th, 8:30 pm. Rain Date: Jun 30th. August 18th, 8:30 pm. Rain Date: August 21st.

 


 Teen Finale will be held at Family Fun Center Arcade @ Hampton Beach Casino!

This year the Teen Department will hold a separate Finale at the Family Fun Center Arcade at the Hampton Beach Casino. August 4th, 12:00-2:00 PM. Free tokens for teens who participate in Summer Reading Programs. Teens can still attend the Children's Room Finale, either for fun or as volunteers to earn more tickets!


 

All logs and raffle tickets must be completed and turned in the day before the Finale Party, August 4th, 12:00 PM in order to be eligible for the drawing.

We will have a weekly drawing for Dunkin Donuts, Stillwell's Ice Cream, Blitz Park, & Las Olas gift cards. One prize per winner.

We will have a massive prize give away at the end of Summer Reading, August 4th, 12:00 PM at the Family Fun Center Arcade at Hampton Beach Casino. We'll raffle off Amazon Gift Cards, a Music Prize Pack, a Movie Prize Pack, and a Back to School Prize pack. Tickets earned all summer will apply for these drawings.

1 Ticket = 100 Pages 10  Tickets = 5 Bingo Squares in a Row
1 Tickets = 1 Bingo Square and/or Book 25 Tickets = Attend 5 Programs or Full Bingo Card
4  Tickets = 1 Program or Volunteer 50 Tickets = Attend 10 Program, Volunteer, or Fitness Activity

Signing Up For Summer Reading:

Teens can sign-up any time! Teens will get a Summer ID, the number they'll use each time they submit their reading logs for summer reading. Check with the Library after for signing up for your Summer ID number.
