Eleven volumes have been presented as follows:
Andrew Carnegie, 1 volume; Boston Record Commissioners, 1 volume; Interstate Commerce Committee, 1 volume; State of New Hampshire, 1 volume; Mrs. Hardy, 2 volumes; Mr. Southworth, 2 volumes; National Museum, 3 volumes. Number of volumes on catalogue, 3,264.
Number of books issued during the year ending Feb. 15, 1909 4,277, an increase of 465 over the issue of last year.
Of the total number of books given out, 2,327 were issued in the afternoon and 1950 in the evening.
